- Holotype: ICN 7469.
- Type locality: “Quebrada Sopladero, on the lower edge of the Parque Nacional Natural 'Munchique', about 33 km by road NNW Uribe, Municipio de El Tambo, Departamento del Cauca, Colombia, 2190 m”.
