- Type locality: NEPAL: Annapurna Mts., above Temang, 3000–3500 m.
- Holotype: NME, ♂, 06.V.2007, leg. J. Schmidt.
- Etymology: The specific epithet (adjective: bearded) alludes to the conspicuous chaetotaxy of the male sternite VII.
