- Type locality: RUSSIA: W-Caucasus, Adygeja, Guzeripl env., 700 m.
- Holotype: Volker Assing private collection, ♂, 1.VII.1999, leg. PUTCHKOV.
- Etymology: The specific epithet (adjective) is composed of the Latin adjective tenuis (slender, narrow) and an adjective derived from the Latin noun collum (neck). It alludes to the small and slender pronotum.
