Type locality: "Mt. Tay Con Linh II, Cao Bo Commune, Vi Xuyen District, Ha Giang Province, Vietnam (site 2: 22° 46´ 10 N, 104° 49´ 53 E, elevation 1400 m)".

Holotype: AMNH 163925.
