Name
[edit]- Holotype: IZCAS, ♂, 10.–20.07.2007.
- Type locality: CHINA: Yunnan: Menglun Town: Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, 21°55.035'N, 101°16.500'E, elevation ca 558 m.
- Etymology: The species name is taken from the Latin word ‘lateralis’, meaning ‘of the side, lateral’, in reference to the position of the coiled embolus; adjective.
