It seems there is a shortage on interwiki bots here. Hazard-SJ (talk) 03:27, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

  • There are reasons for that. Previous interwiki bot runs removed valid links and added incorrect links. Wikispecies is not structured the same way as the Wikipedias are, so the linkages will not be one-to-one. Can your bot handle that fact? --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:19, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
According to my knowledge of Pywikipediabot, the first reason should be fine. As for the second, all bots can make mistakes when it comes to this, but as I am using an updated version of the software, I expect better results than those precious bots. I hope my response was satisfactory. In addition, as Wikispecies functions differently from Wikipedias, would it, in your opinion, be a good idea to use the hint option? Thanks. • I'm sorry for the delay. I'm holding off on this one. Hazard-SJ (talk) 00:45, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
