Series[edit]
It appears that the three series could be considered for removal, as phylogenetic analysis does not clearly support them in spite of differences in distribution. In addition, contemporary references are difficult to find. However, the section as a whole is generally considered to be monophyletic, although natural intersectional hybrids can be found.
