See Pinus classification - should subgeneras Strobus, Ducampopinus, etc be added here instead of listing species? Does the difference between APG II and the Cronquist system matter here? --Georgeryp 15:57, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- An overview of species should be re-instated to bring this page in line with current WS thinking and practice. In addition, the subgeneric classification needs a work through also with species added as required. References are also needed throughout. Andyboorman (talk) 16:07, 16 August 2017 (UTC)
