Coovert & Coovert (1995: 80) Introduce Myobarbum (Myobarum sic) as a "loose" genus inside Marginellinae. They also say that "Placement to tribe must wait further, extensive study of fossil fauna". However i don't think it is possible to place Myobarbaum in any of the modern tribes, I rather see it as sister group to other Marginellinae, or even Marginellidae (but I wont get into that here).
In this case is it ok to let a "loose" genus along with the tribus in the sub family? Pjsouza 23:28, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- You could put it either in an unassigned group or in an incertae sedis group, on the same level as the tribes. Lycaon 07:25, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
