Original description

It is unclear to me whether there is an earlier 1978 description of this species in addition to the 1986 one as cited in most sources, e.g. the Wiley-Blackwell Encyclopedia of Human Evolution ( see https://books.google.com.au/books?hl=en&lr=&id=440TmWXToLAC&oi=fnd&pg=PT9&dq=Wiley-Blackwell+Encyclopedia+of+Human+Evolution&ots=jpbajt_7ba&sig=gc9xaCDUfX8rwWwm0wRXaxL5zzk#v=onepage&q=rudolfensis&f=false)

the 1978 and 1986 references were listed as follows:

• Alexeev, V.P. 1986: The Origin of the Human Race. Moscow, Progress Publishers.

Note, a Google scholar search for ""Homo rudolfensis Alexeev"" yields only the 1986 date, see https://scholar.google.com.au/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=%22Homo+rudolfensis+Alexeev%22&btnG=

For now I have removed the 1978 one since its relevance is unclear.
