Ficus should be disambiguation page, but then about 150 links are broken--Estopedist1 (talk) 05:39, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Estopedist1: A search only gives this taxon page only, so why a disambig? Andyboorman (talk) 07:31, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Andyboorman: Ficus is a hemihomonym. Also valid genus of Animalia, see Ficus (Ficidae)--Estopedist1 (talk) 07:38, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Estopedist1: Ficus (Ficidae) is an unverified hemihomonym according to its WS taxon page, so I would suggest checking out its validity first. Worms accepts Ficus Röding, (1798) so you are probably right in flagging this up. Andyboorman (talk) 07:59, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Andyboorman: Ficus (Ficidae) is now verified. Actually, it is a big question. Let's say we have one valid Fungi genus (eg 2 links in WS) and widely known Plantae genus (300 links in WS). Do we really need then disambiguation page?!--Estopedist1 (talk) 08:45, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Estopedist1: I would leave it for now - creating more work than it is worth. Andyboorman (talk) 09:15, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
