Euphorbia Ferox Origin: Native to South Africa (Great Karoo area) it forms clusters armed with bright purple spines - excellent as patio plant or in rock gardens. Sun Exposure/Cultural Practices: Light shade/bright light to full sun with ample airflow. Needs porous soil with adequate drainage. This species is dormant in winter; protect from frost, keep it totally dry at or around 50°F (minimum avg. temperature). Growth Habits: Columnar succulent branching at the base.
