I am growing E. badjensis in Hororata, Canterbury, New Zealand- cold winters, dry summers, harsh winds, at approx 200 m altitude. It is looking great. Better than a number of the other species being tried, but time will tell. The other winner is an old favourite in terms of growth- E. nitens. Rainfall a miserly approx 400 mm ... Dave.
