Possible replacement name[edit]

I suspect a replacement name is given on page 286 in the following article:

Unfortunately it does not seem to be possible (at least for me) to view this new name directly on Google Books, but from a list of book results for "A. nigripennis Kimoto & Gressitt von Vietnam ist ein neues Homonym von Jacobys Art . Als neuen Namen" (some text I can see) it seems to show "A. kimotoi" indirectly as part of the text following the quote. So "Aulexis kimotoi" could be the intended replacement name for the species (which would be plausible), but I'd rather not jump to conclusions about that for now just in case, especially because as of writing there are no actual Google results for that exact name (at least, with quotes to force an exact match). I have finally managed to obtain a copy of this article for myself, and I can confirm it suggests "A. kimotoi" as a replacement name. It is difficult to tell if this intended to be a formal nomenclatural act though, as in the same publication the homonym Demotina minuta Eroshkina, 1992 has a suggested new name "D. eroshkinae", but a few years later Moseyko gives it the name Demotina minutella, and another decade later still Medvedev himself unnecessarily replaces the same homonym with Demotina parva. I'm going to leave this alone until a new publication clears this up. Monster Iestyn (talk) 09:55, 29 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
