Origanum jordanicum Danin & Künne, Willdenowia 25(2): 603 (1996).

• Typus: Jordan: Edom, 8 km S of Petra, 1 km W of Et Taiyiba, Qseir el Anajil, 1180 m, in crevices of Ordovician sandstone cliff, eastern exposure. 30 Sep. 1994. I Künne 94-09-19. (Holotype: HUJ).
