Typification Details: Holotype MIN 85001

Holotypus: U.S.A. Arkansas: Newton County, Ozark National Forest, Upper Buffalo Wilderness Area, above Buffalo River near southwest corner of wilderness, on north facing hillside with Quercus spp., Carya, and Acer rubrum, 35o49'13" N, 93o27'06" W, elevation 533 m, on thallus of Heterodermia speciosa growing on Carya sp., 29 May 2000, C. Wetmore 85001 (MIN).

Host-Substratum/Locality: On thallus of Heterodermia speciosa: Arkansas
