Help talk:Project sources

Sorry if this is not the appropriate place to put my suggestion but I didn't find a better one. Also, my experience so far with Wikispecies is pretty much non-existant so please bear with me if there are any guidelines I'm not aware of.

That said, I'd like to suggest to add the "Plants For A Future" Database (see http://pfaf.org/) to the list of proposed sources. It looks like an extremely comprehensive and well-researched database containing an incredible amount of additional information, and it lists a lot of references for each of its plant entries. Thanks for your consideration! Cilix 22:37, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Informal checklists and cross-references[edit]

There should probably be a place for less formal references like this: List_of_obsolete_names_in_Diptera - which at least can be a starting point for handling obsolete names. --Georgeryp 02:46, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Translation suggestion[edit]

Will it be better to use tvar for the urls? Minorax (talk) 14:05, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Embioptera[edit]

The existing Embiidina: World List of Extant and Fossil Embiidina page hasn't been updated since 2009. Would it make sense to update that link to http://embioptera.speciesfile.org/HomePage/Embioptera/HomePage.aspx ? Michael pirrello (talk) 04:38, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
