Name
[edit]Chloropicon laureae Lopes dos Santos & Eikrem, in Lopes dos Santos et al., 2017
- Type locality: South Pacific Ocean off Marquesas Islands (8°20' S, 141°15' W).
- Holotype: Cells embedded in resin block deposited at the Natural History Museum, University of Oslo, accession number O-A-10005. Figure 4D shows cell from the resin block. Culture deposited in the Roscoff Culture Collection as RCC856.
- Eponymy: Named after Laure Guillou, "who first distinguished the prasinophyte clades, including clade VII."
