Name[edit]

Chilades sanctithomae (Sharpe, 1893).

Type locality: W. Africa, Sao Tome and Principe ["St. Thomas Is."] St. Nicolau.

Holotype: not located.

Synonymy[edit]

  • Catochrysops sancti-thomae Sharpe, 1893: 556.
  • Freyeria sanctithomae (Sharpe); Ackery et al., 1995.

Note: Balint, 1999: 46 suggests that C. sanctithomae may be a junior subjective synonym of Chilades naidina, but has not made a formal synonymy.
