Varanus timorensis (Gray, 1831)

Syntypes (n=2): MNHN 8278 (ex-MNHN 8278b) and MNHN 2007.2391 (ex-MNHN 8278a), collected by F.A. Péron and C.A. Lesueur in 1803.
Type locality: “Timor”, Indonesia.
