Subspecies?
[edit]Hi! Are there any subspecies of Chalcosyrphus (Syrittoxylota) elegans? If not, the {{Chalcosyrphus (Syrittoxylota) elegans}} template shouldn't be used, since we don't use Taxonavigation templates for the lowest ranked taxa.

- Not that I'm aware of - I don't think I've used taxotemplates in that way for species, I think it just slipped my mind there. I'll change it momentarily. Thanks for letting me know! --WrenFalcon (talk) 00:03, 25 March 2025 (UTC)

Paragini and Toxomerini
[edit]Hello WrenFalcon, if Paragini and Toxomerini are now synonyms of Syrphini, they shoud not be deleted, but be redirected to Syrphini and added there a list of synonyms. The templates for Paragini and Toxomerini can be deleted. Kind regards, Thiotrix (talk) 11:20, 26 March 2025 (UTC)
