Scientific name: Campephilus principalis Wikispecies link: Campephilus principalis This is an possibly extinct bird. It ranged (or ranges) from Texas to North Carolina and from Southern Illinois to Florida and Cuba. Some were sighted in 2004-5 in Arkansas.
