  • The species is one of the 11 Tydeus described by Koch (1838).
  • Dubious genus according to Berlese (1882-1893: 25).
  • Listed as ‘‘ancient species’’ by Kaźmierski (1998: 357) but not listed by Silva et al. (2016).
