Type locality: USA, Pennsylvania, Clinton County, Red Hill site, north side of Route 120, 1 km east of the village of North Bend (41°20.633'N 77°40.814'W); Catskill Formation, Duncannon Member.

Etymology: "Named for the truest friend of a supporter of our research" (acc. to the authors).
