Note: Although the species is universally accepted, the sub-species circumscription differs between various sources. The above represents the most comprehensive accepted by POWO (2025) and there appears to be no clear consensus. Although Vazquez-Sanchez et al. (2019) found the subspecies not to be monophyletic, they could not recommend changes until more work has been undertaken. Therefor the green links should have their own pages, which are being created.
