Type locality: Indonesia, East Nusa Tenggara Prov., Flores, Ruteng, Mt. Ranaka, sample 7, S08°37.781', E120°31.184', 1730 m.
Holotype: BZM ARC3622 (EMBL # LM656052), ♂, 10-III-2011.
Etymology: This epithet is based on a combination of the Greek prefix para- (next to; near by) and the specific epithet of T. florensis Riedel, sp. n., a sibling species.
