Type locality: Australia, Queensland, Mt. Boolbun South, S15° 57´ E145° 08´, 850-1000 m, rainforest, leaf litter, Berlesate 896.
Holotype: QMB ARC3894 (PCR failed), ♂, 06-XI-1995.
Etymology: This epithet is an adjective and refers to the name of the type locality, Mt. Boolbun.
