Abstract

Eleven new species of the genus Chaloenus Westwood are described: Chaloenus (Chaloenus) lekuk and manggicolus n. spp. from Sabah, C. (C.) bintulensis, medvedevi, opacus, toyamai, wongi n. spp. from Sarawak, C. (C.) bawangensis, nigrocyaneus, nishikawai n. spp. from Kalimantan. Chaloenus (Priostomus) subquadratus n. sp. from Sabah. Chaloenus toyamai and C. nishikawai n. spp. are also recorded from Kalimantan, and Sumatra, respectively. Chaloenus (C.) bipunctatus Bryant, 1943 was synonymized with C. latifrons Westwood, 1861. Further a lot of new host plants and distributions are given.
