Telmatobius halli Noble, 1938: 1

  • Holotype: AMNH 44753, adult ♀, collected by F.G. Hall on 25 June 1935.
  • Type locality: “Warm spring near Ollague, Chile, 10,000 ft. altitude”, considered in error, and stated as “near Collahuasi, about 50 km northwest of Ollagüe . . . [in] the area of the Copaquire ravine”, Región de Tarapacá, Chile, by Fibla et al. (2018: 68); stated considered incorrect and modified to “Aguas Calientes”, near Ollagüe (21°17’44.35” S; 68°20’08.69” W; at 3,717 m a.s.l.), by Cuevas et al. (2020: 200), considered erroneous and corrected to “Miño, an abandoned mining camp located near the origin of the Loa River”, 3870 m elevation, Antofagasta, Chile, by Correa (2021: 189).

    • Type locality: “Las Cascadas, 22°29′54″ S—68°58′18″ W, 2260 m de altitud, 3 km al sur de Calama, Provincia El Loa, Región de Antofagasta, vertiente occidental de la Cordillera de los Andes, Chile”.
  • Telmatobius vilamensis Formas, Benavides & Cuevas, 2003: 255 [synonymised by Von Tschirnhaus & Correa (2021: 21)]
    • Holotype: IZUA 3080, audlt ♂, collected by C. Cuevas, J.R. Formas and C. Jara on 17 April 1997. [destroyed by fire on 3 December 2007]
    • Type locality: “Río Vilama (22°51′43″ S, 68°23′25″ W; 3110 m), 6.5 km NE (by road) of San Pedro de Atacama, Provincia El Loa, Región de Antofagasta, Chile”.
