There are two views regarding the circumscription of this tribe with significant differences with respect to generic circumscriptions. Manning (2019 & 2022) prefer a broad view of Drimia s.l. incorporating Austronea, Geschollia, Zingela and most other segregates, in contrast to Martinez et al. (1018, 2019 etc.}, who are working on segregating the tribe into Drimia s.s and additional smaller genera. Both views are legitimate and can be supported phylogenetically and morphologically. However, there is little or no consensus at the moment and taxon pages can be created/edited to reflect both sides of this taxonomic opinion. Andyboorman (talk) 19:50, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
