we need source(s) for subspecies. Several subspecies are removed (see Special:Diff/8022735), because these are (probably) raised to species level--Estopedist1 (talk) 06:23, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Estopedist1: Yes; extensive splits from this species in last 10-20 years. See IOC (scroll to near end of page) for current treatment; T. haematodus restricted to New Guinea and surrounding islets. - MPF (talk) 01:02, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
