Xia et al. (2009) proposed that this genus be circumscribed into Orobanchaceae, although they acknowledge it could be allocated into an as yet unnamed family along with Rehmannia.
Name[edit]
The original diagnosis is telling that the name is based on Rehmannnia sect. Trianophora "apud Hooker" (p. 399). So, it still has to be checked with the Code, if this "orthographische Verbesserung" (p. 393, orthographic improvement/correction) is in accordance with the code. --Franz Xaver (talk) 12:09, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
