Important notes:

• The type genus of this tribe, Mesostylus Faust, 1894 is a junior homonym of Mesostylus Bronn & Roemer, 1852 in Crustacea
• In {{Bouchard & Bousquet, 2020}}, both Mesostylus Faust, 1894 and Mesostylini Reitter, 1913 are given the substitute names Mesostyloides and Mesostyloidini, respectively. Bouchard & Bousquet is the authority to use for both new names.
