Apterygota/Pterygota[edit]

The subclass Apterygota is now considered as an unnatural group since the Zygentoma are more closely related to the Pterygota than to the Archaeognatha. The correct systematic would be :

Monocondylia

Archaeognatha

Dicondylia

Zygentoma
Pterygota

I didn't changed it on the Insecta page since the site isn't really adapted for such systematic...

I am aware Ectognatha is being used today. As I understand it, it is a full synonym of Insecta, and therefore there's not a real need to change the word, except for the fact that Insecta had a different meaning a few years ago. Insecta is still used, and I think wikispecies is right to keep using it, for now.
For the taxonomic suggestions... I don't know again. There's a lot going in, as you saw with Araneae, and I don't know either what is best. I would suggest to not change anything till Lycaon is back from 'the bottom of the ocean'.
