[edit]Curcuma flaviflora was legitimately described by S.Q. Tong (1986). This species is accepted as a distinct speciem out of 12 Curcuma sp. occuring in China according to lastest taxonomically studies (Liu & Wu, 1999). Curcuma flaviflora is also reported to occur in Thailand (Maknoi et al, 2005).
