Talk:Amphiprion thiellei

This species is uncommon in nature. Most specamins shipped are shipped out of Cebu Philippines. Based on discussions I have had with field experts, ornamental fish collectors, wholesalers and retailers who have obtained specamins; they are most prevalent in the reefs surrounding the Philippines. Most credible sources from the scientific community that I have spoken with on the matter believe that this species has the same origins as A. leucokranos (A. sandaracinos x A. chrysopterus.) Due to certain physical attributes and reported collection points, I agree that this theory is plausible but do not agree that it is accurate. That is a discussion I plan to entertain at a later date.
