- Kuschel (1990: 45) reported this species from Lynfield (AK)
- Clarke (2011: 19) notes the above reference without comment, which is odd since Clarke (2011) only examined material of this species from the South Island, and did not examine any material of this genus from Lynfield (AK)
- probably, Kuschel's (1990) record refers to Agnosthaetus brouni (Broun), but this has not been checked
