- Holotype: NMV P252052, a left upper molar broken, collected by Timothy Ziegler on 20 February 2015.
- Type locality and horizon: “Eric the Red West at 38°51'14" S, 143°32'45" E (World Geodetic System 84); Eumeralla Formation (Otway Group), Crybelosporites striatus spore-pollen Zone, early Albian, late Early Cretaceous”.
