Crucigenia lauterbornii (Schmidle) Schmidle, 1900: 234 (as 'lauterbornei')

  • Type locality: Oberrhein-area, Germany.
  • Lectotype: fig. 1 in Schmidle 1896 (designate by Komárek 1974)
  • Epitype: air-dried and formaldehyde-fixed sample of strain UTEX LB1755, Botanical Museum at Berlin-Dahlem as B 40 0040784 (designated in Bock et al. 2013: 337). Isoepitype: culture collection of Algae at Univ. of Austin, Texas.
