- Replacement name for Alaria Zhao & Li, 2012 non Alaria Schrank, 1788 (Trematoda: Diplostomatidae)
- Type species: Alaria chengguanensis Zhao & Li, 2012 (≡S. chengguanensis
) - Etymology: The generic epithet is derived from the Latin 'alarius', meaning 'of wings', which refers to the two projections of the copulatory ducts at each side, which resembles a pair of wings.
- Gender:feminine.
