  • Type locality: Kellet Channel, south Shore of Cerros Island, Baja California, Mexico. Dredged from 40-50 m.
  • Holotype: (tetrasporic): E.Y. Dawson; 1944-05; UC 690005.

      • Type locality: Post Office Bay, Isla Santa María, Galápagos, Ecuador. Spreading over and rooted in a large sponge dredged from 55 metres’ depth.
