Pyrrhospora quernea (Dicks.) Körber, 1855


Substrate and ecology: (Sonoran Desert Region) Usually on acidic to intermediate, moderately nutrient-rich, rough bark (especially Quercus; also on Pinus, Prunus, Sambucus, Olea, Heteromeles, Artemisia), occasionally on wood, very rarely on sandstone rocks.
