Holotype: NMSL 2013.08.01 NH, 05.ii.2009, adult female; coll. L.J.M.W, D.R.V., M.D.G.R., S.C.A., A.W.A.C. & I.N.B.
Type locality: Sripada (Peak Wilderness), Ratnapura District, Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka (060 48’30”N 800 29’19”E; 1679m).
Etymology: Named after Siril Wijesundara (Director, Royal Botanical gardens, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka), in great appreciation of his service to Sri Lanka.
