Name[edit]

Pseudocrenilabrus philander (Weber, 1897)

Lectotype: ZMA 100175. Paralectotypes: BMNH uncat. [from Weber] (1); NMW 32601-02 (2); ZMA 111417-21 (8, 3, 28, 1, 11). Lectotype designated by Matthes, 1964:182.

Type locality: Umhlasine River, near Verulam, Natal, South Africa.
