  • Holotype: NMV C2029 1 (formerly in Fisheries and Wildlife Division Research Collection specimen number MT 1979), adult ♂, skull, mandible and skin, collected by C.F. Hutchinson on 19 May 1968.
  • Type locality: “Princes Highway at Bellbird Creek, 32 km E. of Orbost, Victoria”, Australia.
