  • Type locality: India: West Bengal. "Growing as greenish to whitish patch on Hydrilla verticillata L., pH-6, Temp. 300C at the time of collection."
  • Holotypus: No. PM 190, September 11, 2001, kept in algae Herbarium, Department of Botany, The University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India (BURD).
