  • Note: Once synonymized with P. klotzschiana K.Schum. by Bridson (1978: 620), but then reinstated by Bridson (2001).
  • Types:
  • Type locality: Mossambique [= MOZAMBIQUE].
    • Holotype: In der steinig-sandigen Umgebung von Tette [= In the stony and sandy vicinity of Tete].
    • Neotype: Tete Province: Boroma (Boruma).
