Synonyms

  • Type species: Euryptidia univitta Hampson, 1900.

Notes:

• Hampson, 1914 actually did the reverse synonymy from here above, considering Felder did not describe the genus/species, therefore considering Euryptidia as the valid name even if published later.
• Draudt, 1919 follows Hampson and gives the name Euryptidia to these species.
• Strand, 1920 in his catalogue considers Euryptidia junior synonym of Paratype. Followed by Lepindex and Funet.
• Watson, Fletcher & Nye, 1980, Bendib & Minet, 1999 consider the 2 genera without apparent synonymy.
