Type locality: Philippines, Luzon, Bolinao, small corals on silty sand, 5–7 m, rotenone.

Holotype: BPBM. female ♀. 57.8 mm. BPBM 36841. 9.X.1995. leg. P.C. Heemstra, D.A. Hensley, and J.K. Dooley.
