Name

Type locality: Yap-3 seamount near the Yap Trench, 373 meters depth.
Holotype: Y30157, collected on 24 December 2014 from the station FX-Dive 21 (8°51.36′N, 137°46.76′E) of Yap-3 seamount near the Yap Trench at a water depth of 373 m, rocky bottom.
Etymology: The Latin adjective ruber (red) referring to the red color of the species
